The GM runs the team. He/She decides what transactions to make. He/She also has the final decision over any proposal by the staff.

Head Coach - empty
The Head Coach basically is the assistant to the GM. When the GM cannot do something, it is the Head Coaches job to do it. The Head Coach also takes care of any duties not being taken care of by other staff members. The Head Coach also can get involved in trade talk/Free Agency signings but must report anything back to the GM before a final decision can be made. The Head Coach also helps the GM decide who to start/sit for games and the amount of playing time each player should get on the depth chart.

Salary Coordinator - empty
The Salary Coordinator basically just does the salaries and makes sure the team is in o.k financial means. The Salary Coordinator also can suggest who to cut or sign in FA and is also in charge of making sure every trade made doesn't make the team go above the budget.
