I don't really care about your opinion... and who cares about 2k7? he was a 71 last year Because if he didnt have a better season then he did last year why would his rating improve so drastically? He sucks, hes an awful C, hes good for some rebounds and a blocked shot or two and thats basically it. Hes basically a very very poor mans Ben Wallace from the Pistons. | |

Hes basically a very very poor mans Ben Wallace from the Pistons. not trying to make this the kendrick perkins argument thread but anyways... perkins was drafted right out of high school and was one of the most highly touted prospects in the country, if not the most. not going to college hurts kids like him, martell webster, etc because they dont get an extra year or two to be in the spotlight and developing their game on the court, instead of in practice. perkins actually reminds me of a young jermaine oneal. oneal didnt come into his own as a player untill about 5-6 years in the league. the skillsets are similar and the situations are similar. oneal was behind rasheed wallace for many years in portland and then got the chance to start and play more minutes in indiana. and with perkins being in boston with allen, pierce and garnett, his touches are going to be limited. in all honesty i think it would be dumb to trade perkins, just because of his potential and he is still only 23...i think he will be around a 76 because nba championship teams always have their players jump up in ratings | |

| I can promise you one thing, Kendrick Perkins will never be even as close to as good a player as Jermaine O'Neal, and I know Perkins was highly touted out of high school, thats because he used his brute strength and size to score in high school. He cant do that in the NBA. Hell never be anything more than a DECENT starting C at best. | |
